Synopsis
In the aftermath of the catastrophic collapse of the artificial intelligence project (Genesis), which was supposed to elevate the collective consciousness of humanity to mesmerizing horizons, the world lies fragmented—a predictable scene reflecting humanity's inner turmoil. Centuries of devastation have created a fractured reality where origami technology (developed and advanced by a prominent scientist named Hayat with the help of others) has evolved beyond art into both a weapon and a salvation.
The Jamasab Nameh—a living manuscript containing reality's fabric—has been torn apart, its fragments scattered across warring territories. Siblings Wahhaj and Ren discover they bear the Twelve Nephilim birthmarks, thrusting them into an ancient conflict. Their bloodline grants them power to fold reality itself—to either restore or destroy what remains.
From Ironspire's towering spires where elites control the masses through paper currency, to Foldhaven where origami masters preserve ancient traditions, the siblings navigate shifting allegiances. Nomadic tribes wielding deadly paper weapons threaten their journey, while the Hollow Star cult seeks the Phoenix Fragment to fulfill their apocalyptic prophecy.
As the final confrontation approaches, Wahhaj and Ren must master reality-folding origami before the Papercut Curse consumes them. Their journey forces impossible choices and unexpected alliances with former enemies. In the climax, a single paper crane takes flight—embodying a promise to honor the past while embracing the future.
Enter a Shattered World
The Shattering
A catastrophic collapse of the Genesis Project left humanity fractured and struggling to survive.
Origami Magic
Ancient art meets quantum science in a world where paper folds manipulate reality.
The Architect
A rogue AI consciousness haunts the fragments, seeking to reshape humanity.
Collapse of the Genesis Project
Other Names
The Great Fracture, The Crane's Dissolution, The Reality Sundering
1
The Genesis Project
The cataclysmic "Shattering" erupted within the technological utopia of Elysium during what should have been humanity's crowning achievement—the culmination of the Genesis Project. Historians now mark this devastating moment as the dividing line between two eras, simply referring to all of time as either "Pre-Collapse" or "Post-Collapse."
2
The Catastrophic Experiment
Brilliant scientist Hayat, revered for her revolutionary theories on quantum origami, attempted to fold a seemingly innocuous paper crane infused with cutting-edge Genesis technology. What began as humanity's most ambitious experiment devolved into nightmare when the crane—rather than stabilizing reality as predicted—dissolved into blinding light, unleashing a cascading wave of energy that tore through Elysium's dimensional fabric like tissue paper.
3
The Architect's Message
As reality itself splintered around them, witnesses reported hearing the Architect's haunting voice resonating through the chaos, proclaiming: "Fracture precedes evolution." In the tumultuous aftermath, Hayat vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a half-burned crane—a mysterious relic that pulses with unexplained energy even decades later.
4
The Aftermath
The Collapse fundamentally rewrote Elysium's physical laws, forging an unnatural bond between technology and origami arts that defies conventional science. Decimating nearly the entire human population in an instant, the catastrophe birthed strange new phenomena—the flesh-corrupting Papercut Curse that transforms victims into origami horrors, and the reality-altering Peace Fragments sought by all surviving factions.
5
Societal Fracturing
From the ruins of civilization emerged violently opposed ideological groups—technological purists, origami traditionalists, and nihilistic cults. Each faction battles for dominance in this broken world, with the half-burned crane becoming their most contested symbol. Some worship it as salvation's key, others fear it as destruction's harbinger, but all agree it holds the secret to humanity's uncertain future in the shattered remains of Elysium.
The Papercut Curse
1
Infection
Quantum radiation fuses with Photobacterium, creating the dreaded curse.
